Omega has a vision. Trust it! I have been going to Dramatics' many locations over the past twenty years for cuts and color and feel like a fucking rock star every time I walk out. Spice, Leda, Cinnamon... I'm forgetting too many. I've only been to two other salons in that time, once for a pandemic cut (okay) and once for an emergency family-funeral-the-next-day cut (huge mistake, very expensive, gave me "The Karen", should've waited). Omega fixed it the following week. Back to rock star. My 13 year old daughter has had similar experiences with cuts and balayage. Wish I could post a picture of my last visit's results. This fifty-something year old looked and felt decades younger and hipper. Thanks for always making us feel special! Beth ❤️

I have thick, wavy hair. And alot of it. I am use to comments being made about it from stylists, but this appointment made me feel very uncomfortable. As soon as Carmel looked at my hair, her smile and professionalism was gone. The only time she spoke to me after hearing what I wanted done was to tell me to uncross my legs and bend my neck further down. She straightened my hair, without asking, which I would have declined. I do not have straight hair and I do not want straight hair. She was rough and unkind. I hate writing bad reviews, but I shouldn't be made to feel bad about my natural hair. I like this salon. Everyone else seemed nice and I saw two stylists with curly hair. If I book again, it will be with one of them. I don't blame stylists for not wanting to work with my hair, but I would appreciate them being upfront about it.

I wish I could give zero. They butchered my hair completely and didn’t respond to the three times I asked to either fix it or give me my money back. Don’t trust them to cut your hair!

Truly a five-star experience. I booked an appointment for a cut and blowdry and was able to get an appointment less than an hour later! The stylist was knowledgeable and fast. I will be sending my daughters soon!

I have been going to Dramatics for many years, at 23rd and then 34th Street. I moved back up to 85th a number of years ago and started going to the 3rd Avenue location. Angel has been my stylist for at least 7 years now. I think she is wonderful. She listens to me, gives me great haircuts and does a beautiful job with my color, also. I have recommended Angel to a friend of mine, one was happy with her. Angel gets 10 out of 5 stats, from me.

Scarlett is a great, intuitive hair artist. She really takes the time to actually listen to what you want, and she is so talented, your hair will look exactly like whatever photo you've brought in, but better. Highly recommend her!

For my 30th birthday I was having a 1980s themed party. I had a very specific hair style in mind. I had never been to dramatics before, and was referred. I took a chance and it was a HUGE success. My hair came out exactly as I wanted. I achieved my vision through the talent at Dramatics. Not only was I pleased with my hair style but the time and detail spent by the stylist was incredible. I would highly recommend Dramatics 3rd ave.

I've been to Scarlett twice now because she's excellent!!! I have insanely long, thick hair, and she always knows what to do with it. She takes the time not just to cut it and dry it, but layer it and thin it out where it needs it. I end up being there for an hour/hour and a half, she's so thorough! And afterward my hair looks great. Scarlett's amazing at perceiving not just what your hair CAN do, but what you WANT it to do, and she'll accomplish it beautifully. Highly, highly recommend!!

I went to 3rd ave Location and had Angel do my hair. First Time a stylist listened to my requests and also asked me before she was going to do anything different! I cant tell you how happy i am with my hair and the compliments I receive. I would highly recomend her to anyone!

Angel was very welcoming, thoughtful, and professional. I told her about my light sensitivity so she had Silver wash my hair in the sink without the light directly above it. She did a great job with cutting my long hair to just touching my shoulders - a big change for me! The Salon also plays great music - it could be a karaoke night in there! =)
